Paging Nvr4get Aka Matthew Powell bought spec 3 clutch from him that was said to have been broken in properly and only had around 1000 miles on it and heres what i get i called spec and a new disc is 167 so i asked him to refund me half of the pruchase price at least is what i thought was fair
Fash, If you havn't ever seen a spec clutch new there is not much more fricton material above the rivits. Its kinda hard to tell on my puter by the pics. But the First pic looks correct for what they come with material. I took my brand new one out of the box and looked and said this isnt going to last long. Brand New I remember only aprox .020 or so above the rivit to the pad material. How much more thickness were you expecting over the rivit. When I got mine New I was expecting to see 1/4 thickness on each side, just like every other clutch I've changed over the yr. I hope this helps. John
