The whole reason I bought these heads is because The AFR's that were suppose to be ready in December, I'm still waiting for! I did't want to go another season with the car sitting in the garage.

LASTLS1 I hope you get the chance to talk to Minty soon. Resolve this in person if possible. Next time it'd be better up front to state what was the matter with the items to avoid a bunch of pointless name calling and bs. Threats aren't cool, they definitely have no place on this forum.

I've responded to Minty's thread as well.

We have talked. We DID try to solve it. I offered 150 to take care of some of the portion of the "damage repairs" and yesterday Andy said fine. Today he says he wants 200 or nothing....Well I said 150 and its 24 hours till its off the table. He says we will deal with it the "other way"......Ok...........Considering the heads were at shipped 2 times, and then overlooked completely by one shop I thought I was doing the right thing by even offering anything but I guess not.

And no Andy, I was not going to wait to sell anything or wait for anyone...I was going to just give you the money and call it a lesson learned for myself as well.......
I have a pic of the heads if anyone wants to see.....As I told Andy, I have never heard of a spring being welded in crooked and did multiple searches with no finds. I had no intention to screw him, he has also admitted to that via PM....I guess it boils down to me giving in to the exact amount he wants now, and thats not what I agreed to........ If it wasn't about the money to him like he says its not(which I know) then he would take the money agreed upon yesterday.......thats where we stand.

Greg felt it was not worth $200.00. He did offer $150.00 which did not cover the cost to make the heads safe to run. All I wanted was less than half of the cost of repairs. He wants to play lets make a deal. So I told him to keep his money. So his name isn't worth $200.00 SAD. He must sleep with that money. Oh well a lesson learned. He must really be tight on money. I hope others have learned a lesson. I want to go on record saying I wish Minty the best. I have no hard feelings. I wouldn't want LME getting a bunch of phone calls but if Pro Stock John wanted to confirm my story he could call Bryan at LME and he could fill him in. Andy.

This just keeps getting better and better! I got the motor today from LME. I was looking it over it looks great! So I thought I would throw on my fast 90mm intake. Doesn't fit, maybe because the heads were wacked sooo bad to get down to a 51 cc chamber. So now I have to see what I have to modify to get it to even set down on the heads. It won't even start to go down in the bosses. Boy were those heads a GREAT deal! Like I said at the begining MINTY SELLS JUNK! and won't make it right. $200.00 sounded cheap for all the bull **** I've had to put up with these heads. But not to MINTY!

Hmm, it looks like maybe these heads weren't exactly in MINTY condition...

Sorry, I couldn't help myself.

Now that was FUNNY! You must not confuse mint condition with MINTY condition!

Who cares anymore?
This thread sucks.
Looks like a bad deal all together.
I don't believe either member if making false claims or knew this was going to happen.
I cant see Minty buying the heads for himself if he knew they wern't setup correctly.
And I don't see any reason for the new owner to lie either.
Misfortune and both have to try and get things resolved.
Good luck to both of you.
