Default ls1290- BAD SELLER

Keith is Ls1290- sold me a pair of black powdercoated valvecovers that arrived with one in sub par condition. Before any money exchanged I sent him a detailed email stating I was looking for excellent condition ones with no scratches/dents/chips.

His reply was that they are in great condition and meet my needs. I requested pics and he simply answered yes to my description of them being great and no pics were needed.

Well when they arrived one looks good with a nice thick powdercoat. The other only has a very thin powercoat layer and is a little translucent so that you can see all the casting imperfections below the coating. It looks like crap and definately doesn't look the same as the other one.

After repeated emails to come to some form of agreement to solve this problem he has done nothing about it. I would never do biz with him again. I felt like I had been misled on their quality.

Here is his preply after repeated requests to do something to make me happy:

"Mark,

Hold your water. First of all I have been busy with a new born child, that is why I have not been able to get back with you sooner. IMO, the valve covers are in 'good' shape, I never stated they where perfect or in excellent shape as you are claiming. As far as one looking like ****, please be more specific."

So he is leaving it at the fact he considers them in good condition and that is that. In addition he has the time to post every day but not answer my request to resolve this problem. He feels he doesn't need to compensate me or correct the fact that one valvecover looks like dooky even though he assured me they were in great condition.

To add to that he shipped them way late. For the price I paid for them and now the fact that one needs to be redone.... I could've had mine powdercoated for less.

Not happy with Keith. I'm mainly not happy with how he deals with problems once he gets paid. He isn't a crook... but he certainly isn't honest and is very misleading.

I wouldn't do business with him unless the part was brand new.

-Mark

hate it when people make up excuses.. new born? did u drive that week? go to the store or gas station? no fedex or ups store nearby? honestly if u dont have the time to ship stuff on time then dont sell stuff in the first place.

GNX7 did u ask for pics of the covers before u paid for them? that weak cover might not even be PC, just spray paint. did u get a good deal on them? B/C locally u can prolly PC stock covers for 30 or 40 bucks.

SOB like that should be ban from the site. F-body owners are supposed to stick together not screw eachother.
