I hate to be an *** here, but a deal is a deal. 98WTA has been parting an SS, so I pm'd him about the led brake light in the spoiler. He quoted me $50 + $10 shipping. I said as long as he would guarantee it was good and insure it, I would take it. He said he would take delivery of the car the next weekend, and that the brake light would be held for me. After sending 2 pm's and an email he responds saying the person buying the spoiler might not take it without the light, so he needed to sell the them together. Normally I would understand this, but imo he should have thought about that before he quoted me a price and said the light would be held for me. A deal is a deal.
Honestly, hes right. and like the rules are that are posted, he has the option to sell or not to sell to someone. I'm buying the spoiler off of him, and i would definately turn it down without a light...

I understand the rules, and I wouldn't ask him to give up selling the spoiler so I can get the brake light. I can buy a brand new one for $30 more anyways. He shouldn't have offered it to me if he wasn't willing to sell it. That is my point.
You have to understand that these kinds of things happen. After making two deals, one for the spoiler, and one for the light, he would much rather lose the business of a $60, than a $300 spoiler. I'm sure he didn't expect to sell the spoiler and light together after he'd promised the light to you, that's just how the buyer wanted it. I wouldn't say it's "dishonest" but rather a simple mistake on his part for jumping the gun on the deal.
ive had stuff like that happen to me before no big deal, if you had the option of taking 300 bucks over the 60 most people would say they would try to keep the deal they made but in all honesty most would take the 300 anyway...
