Con Artist, bought a good condition LS1 block back in March, received it broken. Mike would not refund the money even after sending pictures and estimates in repair (machine shop quoted $900 in labor) to attempt to weld and machine with no guarantees. I just wanted the $350 back, but instead got stuck with a boat-anchor of a block that is unuseable. I have attempted to contact him multiple times, last time I talked to him, he said his medical bills from a car accident "weren't cheap", yet I see him trying to buy other parts here on ls1tech! STAY AWAY guys, wouldn't even recommend selling to him!!!

 

He is deffinitely a piece of crap. He screwed me too.

 

Received negative feedback tonight from him, check it out... 1. Illiterate 2. Ridiculous because it's supposed to be feedback based on the transaction, my part was to pay for it, which I did right away! Can't believe the infestation of losers we have here...

Actually, he shipped it bubble wrapped with tape, nothing else. 1/2 asser too eh? Wouldnt've been a big deal if it would've shown up in working condition, but f'd up condition rendering it unuseable, and he knew that. Now he just shines me on... The whole him posting negative feedback on me for no good reason (I did my part in attempting to resolve this for the past almost 5 months) really fires me up.

 

See if the mods can remove the feedback since it is completely false & explain to them the situation.

You already have 1 strike against you for abusing the feedback system, please address this situation and remedy it quickly. Is your reputation worth $350?

 

99Hdtpss, since you responded to my PM concerning this matter three hours after I sent it, a week ago, but have yet to fix this situation, you now are pending a Bad Trader Status. Unless I have confirmation from the buyer that it is resolved in 48 hours, then that title will be yours to keep.

 

Got contact tonight from Mike's brother Mark. Hopefully we'll get this taken care of! Good to at least get a response back! Strange thing I did notice was a pm I received back June 16th was written the same way, every word starting with a cap for some reason and signed Mike, instead of Mark.

I Typed This All In Caps. There Is A Function In The Board Software That Changes It To Only The First Letter Of Each Word.

Thats Why Its Like That More Than Likely.

 

Excellent, it worked. Thats what happens when you type in all caps. I doubt two brothers would both do that unless the computer always has the caps lock on and they are both rather oblivious to the fact.

 

Mark is trying to get it taken care of... He is selling more parts and we agreed a $200 refund would be fair. Will keep you posted.

 

Has been not quite a week, have yet to hear back from Mark/Mike. Said he would have to clear the $200 with Mike, but haven't gotten a response to my offer for $200 to settle this.

 

Received $200 refund via paypal this morning from Mark/Mike. This dispute has officially been settled. Once other refunds have been issued, please remove bad seller title for this seller. Thanks again Mark/Mike.
