Notice that all of InSane's posts have been edited by him after the fact. He went back and removed the false statements, profanity, and incriminating information.
After I first viewed his original ad on November 8th I contacted him via e-mail and inquired about the condition of the changer. He claimed it was "perfect, in pretty excellent shape". Here is a cut n paste of that e-mail:

After 4 more days passed and he still hadn't sent it I warned others on the forum about this seller. Another member of the forum sent me a heads-up that he operates on several forums and on eBay with some pretty bad feedback. Bay/User/E-Mail IS's included zohhsix, insanels1, ls1vettecya, ssforu2nv, jsemotorsports, crazyvette, zo6e, zo6ed, and oneluvdiva.

On Nov 22nd I asked eBay for the ID info of Zohhsix, here is what they sent:

I called the phone number. Its a fake. I reported this name (zohhsix) to eBay and they verified that it was fake and suspended the account. They went on to investigate and ended up shutting down 4 more eBay accounts all beonging to the same guy. Mr. John Shiel of Orlando FL and New Jersey.
I then began asking other people he had sold items to on eBay about their transactions via e-mail.

Randy, Just an update, since your post on the corvetteforum, John has sent a number of emails concerning my...failed purchase... I am out ...several hundred dollars... I fell I am also a victim of his scam. I think people like this should be punished, for attempting to prey on others with good nature and honesty. Maybe you have him running scared, therefore he is trying to make a last effort ditch, to make things right.

After all of the above e-mails arrived, the changer he shipped arrived. It was beat up and the wrong brand. He refused to refund my money uless I first sent it back to him, at my expense.

I have filed reports with Orlando PD, Orange County Sheriffs Police, and the Internet Fraud Complaint Center(http://www1.ifccfbi.gov/index.asp). I provided them with all of the info I have and all of the statements of all of his other victims that were more than willing to participate.
You decide whether or not to deal with InSane. Good luck.

 

I've read the other thread were some of you were trashing him ... but he made his payment promptly via Paypal. Actually, he paid me before I even shipped him the games. He seems like a very honorable person. That's all I'm going to say.
