You know - I read all of the way through this, and after seeing that last few posts, it probably was a good idea to 'steer clear' as they say.
But, a mention of low (or no) post count initially kinda hit a tender spot with me. Several other folks wrote and obviously had the same feelings based on the same thing. Then, someone came back and said they chatted with a senior member of another site ('cause they had over 3000 posts over there). Again, a referance to the 'seniority' (or 'trustworthyness?') of a seller (or a buyer) based on their post count. I'm new to this site (and other sites too), and things like this (with several other problems I've encountered, especially with this site) have made me not post too often. That doesn't mean I'm not trustworthy. Just like my lack of posts on this site shouldn't put up a 'buyer beware' sign. Any person who enters into a buyer-seller transaction should not fear in exchanging personal information with each other; if they do, then the 'buyer/seller' beware sign should indeed go up!
I'm a regular with the TPSA (Texas Pro Stock Association) and travel and race at several tracks here in Texas. At the last race of our season this year at HMP (Houston Motorsports Park), I spotted a couple of LS1TECH decals on a couple of Fbods and a Vette. I walked up to them and invited them over to the trailer to check out my Pro Stock Firebird. But, what I really wanted them to see was my true baby, my '02 SS LE that my wife had driven up because the weather was so nice. Never did see any of them.
Makes me wonder about the 'welcome to LS1 Tech', and also if there's some kind of little 'click' a person has to be invited into to get over this 'low or no post count' syndrome. Sorry 'bout the ramble but its off my chest - Thanks

The guy just posted on this forum the same post word for word.

I just want to say this may be the greatest guy to deal with and may not be a scammer or anything of the sort but just for my best intrest i decided to not deal with him and if he is up and up then he shouldnt have a problem selling those items.
if you read it all the way he says you can come and pick it up. so i assume he has it.

I don't even like to sell to people with 0 posts. I have sold one item to someone with 0 feedback but he had been around for a while. I won't buy ANYTHING from people with 0 posts even if they have been on here for more than 6 months. Could just be someone who setup a bunch of accounts and is now ready to scam people.

I have been very lucky in that everyone I have bought and sold to on this forum has been honest and good folks but I'm still very careful and when I sell something I also include either a tracking number with insurance or at least delivery confrimation and I am 100% clear in my for sale posts what the purchaser will get.
