Question Selling stuff

Hey all, i'm new to this forum. but not at all new to selling on these forums. i made many transactions over at caraudio.com and the general rule of thumb was to ship out your item that your selling a day or 2 after the payment was sent. Now i just bought some wheels on here from Studytime, and well it's been over a week since i payed him and he still hasn't shipped them off yet, and hasn't even responded to my PM's for the last 2 days. I'm getting kinda worried that i got ripped off. I don't know what his rep is around here, but i hope it's good.

Was this transaction from this site or someplace else? If you have the link from here then please post it.

I'm just wondering why you would ask the sellers reputation *after* buying instead of before buying.

Studytime is a stand up guy. I bought a cam from him and he was prompt with sending it. He's probably busy and hasn't had a chance to respond to your PMs.

From what isaw he was a standup guy and had feedback of 10 plus. But he still hasn't got back to me, almost a week and a half after i gave him the money. IMO you shouldn't sell stuff if you know your going to be busy.

You need to send an email or call the seller to find out what is going on. If they don't respond to that then file a dispute to get a claim going.

We always anticipate you getting the information from any seller here before buying. Unfortunately we do not force anyone to contact another member - it is why the forum rules have always bee Buyer/Seller Beware.

If you can start a claim then do so, paypal and a credit card company would have his personal information on file to do that on your behalf.

Thanks LS1Formulation for going up to bat for me. I just logged in and saw my 16 (literally) Unread Private Messages. Here's the deal, I flew out of town last minute to Houston and I've been away. If you think that's a crock of you know what, I can fax you a copy of my flight itenerary Monday morning.

Your wheels are in the mail. I asked for time for your paypal payment to be deposited into my account and to clear my bank. This wasn't a problem according to you. I'm terribly sorry for the delay, but life doesn't go perfectly sometimes. I didn't have a chance to wash your new wheels up, so I even went so far as to include some chrome polish as a nice gesture.

FWIW, I was paid $50 profit for each wheel, and shipping per each was $40.

Let me know what I can do, if there's anything else. Search under my name, I've been here for a while. I'm not a fly-by-night conartist.

Slikrider20, I'm not attempting to stiff you. FWIW, if you pay people with paypal you generally have their email address too!

This gentleman was left hanging as well as everyone else in my life. No hard feelings, and don't let this experience put a bad taste in your mouth about LS1tech.com

Yeah i appreicate it and i totally understand. It's just you know i've made many transactions and have never had to wait this long, and i didn't really know anyone on this paticular forum so i figured i just got **** out of 300 bucks. You gave me a good deal so i'll have to let it slide this time....

thanks dude
