well as it turns out I think i am in the wrong. some how gm changed the head bolts in 03 and my car being a 04 and his I just figured they would work.
I even asked him and he said yes.
But now that i have got to looking for the right one's .even auto zone list 2 part #'s for the 04.
so in the end it is my fault due to not knowing. or gm for putting one yr engine in one gto and another style in another.
I still can't beleive it but i don't feel trey04gto is the one to blame unless they are not out of his car.
but when i sell them i will be VERY specific about they only fit 2004 and newer engines useing the same lenght stud.

Similar situation owning a 93' Camaro - there are some parts I need to be specific with when looking at a 94' to 95'. After that the entire set up changed so I tend to ask a ton of questions and pictures to make sure its what will fit.

Thanks for editing the title. I was going to delete it but did not want someone to have read it and still think trey04gto was a bad guy. I did not know what was right thing to do.
