Default sswoody00: Bad Trader : RESOLVED!!!

I purchased some t-top shades from Steve (sswoody00) on June 25, 2007. I have not as of yet recieved them, or gotten any indication that they have been sent.

Since I paypalled the money, I have only gotten one email from him, stating that his brother forgot to send them, and he was going to pick them up and ship them. That was on Monday the 9th.

I know that he got my money, because Paypal says that it went through on June 28th, in the amount of $45.00 US. I have tried to be patient with this seller, and give him the benefit of the doubt. I will no longer however. Three weeks is long enough to get something mailed to a buyer, and there have been several occasions where I could have bought the same items from someone else if I weren't waiting on these.

I am seeking a refund from the buyer, or I will dispute the charges with Paypal.

I would warn those who are looking at his two vehicles he also has for sale, if he does this over $45, what will happen when you're talking about many thousands of dollars?

I will update this thread with whatever resolution this matter comes to.

I met Steve (sswoody00) a couple weeks ago when he bought my rollcage. He seemed nice and trustworthy. He is supposed to be buying some more parts from me - but I haven't been able to get ahold of him (doesn't look like he has logged on to here in awhile). I think I have his phone number - if I have it I will forward it to you via PM. If I get ahold of him, I will ask him about transaction and let you know I talked to him.

Ok, I didn't get the parts shipped out in a while. I'm terribly sorry about that. I don't blame you for the actions you took, but the money was refunded. I'm not a theif, and I'm not a scam artist or anything. I just didn't get them shipped.

Schaffer: Thanks for the kind words. I noticed you have your WS-6 for sale now. You decided to finally let it go? Those are some really nice cars you have there! I wish I didn't have to sell my baby, but I'm not going to be able to buy the rearend from ya.

Thanks again guys, and DOUBT IT, I'm sorry again.
Take care.

Thanks for the refund. Like I said before, I understand delays, but I think that you or anyone else would agree that over a month is ridiculous.

One suggestion for the future would be more/better communication. That goes a long way towards smoothing things over with a buyer. Hope you remember that in the future.

Steve is not a scammer guys, he did in fact refund my money. I've got my money being refunded, I've got the shades coming from another seller.

I consider this matter resolved.

No hard feelings Steve,
Allen
