To all other reasonbable people:

I can't be held responsible for damage incurred after delivery was taken. If he had contacted me the day he recieved it, I would of made it right but since I took all precautions shipping it and there was a significant peroid of time after the cam was received before any attempt to contact me was made. I can't be sure he didn't mishandle it to cause this damage.
tell me how can you argue with this type of mentality ????????? i'm sure the new owner packed it in salt and froze it then and only then decided to complain, the cam was wraped in a wet rag and deteriorated it like that, tell us thats not what happen,

Well, Billy Buttfuck I don't know what would cause the perfect cam I sent him to rust like that. I am no expert in the way of steel oxidizing. What I do find interesting is a group of ill informed individuals jumping on proveribally "burn the witch band wagon." For all I know that isn't even the cam I sent him. Let him prove that to the angry mob.

First of all, don't play all "paypal decided in my favor". As we just found out, paypal's buyer protection policy is only for the non receipt of items, not items received in damaged condition. It's not like they said you were right and we were wrong.

Secondly we wrote you as soon as we opened it, you are the one who wouldn't respond to our pm until 24hrs later. Why would it take you 24hrs to tell us we are the liars???? As for a "significant period of time" it was like 2 days later. UPS doesn't deliver to our house until around 8pm and we got it on a friday, we had a car cruise the next day so we were busy.

you should just do the right thing and refund us, but i guess since you set out to intentionally scam somebody thats not going to happen.

The cam has tr 224 112 engraved on the end of it. So at least it was a real thunder racing cam (i believe).

I still don't get why this guy would try to say I am lying. I have been very honest in all my dealings. This site is very important to me. LS1 parts are hard to come by in Montana. I would not risk my reputation for 250 dollars.

Enjoy the money you stole from us, because I know you are not going to do the right thing. I do think you should go away and not come back to ls1tech.

I am on the road with my lap top & don't have access to good pics on the engraving. I'll post more when I get back. Here is a pic of the end of it right after I removed it from the packing.

Wow.... Just wow! Seriously what happened to etiquette(btw, that means a code by which social behavior is expected)??? You obviously did this guy wrong and are ruining your "sales rep" on here, soo why not just refund him his money.... Do you honestly think people are gonna buy anything from you after reading this??? Good luck.. If you take the time to wrap the cam, you wouldn't notice the pitting while you were doing soo???

but, but....the cam was in perfect shape when he sent it!! Over 1 week of transit and delivery, it oxidized and pitted like that.

never mind the fact that in the pic he showed us himself, u can see most of the cam is black.

The most fair thing would be a refund and shipping the part back minus payment fees and shipping. It would at least resolve the matter IMO. It is up to the seller to decide.

Code4, you need to get pictures, working phone numbers and all information possible before buying on a good deal offer. The old saying "you get what you pay for" still stands today - we do have numerous sponsors that can get you the parts you need for the same price or just a bit more. There is reliability in that.
If you can't afford that then try to buy local where you can go look at the part(s) in person before paying for them. Just a few suggestions to get you up and running spending less time and money dealing with parts you can't use.

Thanks for posting. I am on first name basis with speed inc, & thunder racing. I spend plenty of money with the sponsors. I have bought/sold prob around 100 parts on this site, even a whole car that worked out great.

Yes I got ripped on this deal due to my being too trusting. I do think that "getting what you pay for" saying does apply in some cases but $250 for scrap iron was a little steep.
