Default Free Paypal Fee Calculator

I use this all the time and I thought I should share it with you guys. If you wanting to sell something and add the paypal fee in the cost here is a calculator: http://ppcalc.com/

so If I sell a set of LT1 heads for $175 + paypal fees the total would be $180.54 and the paypal fee is $5.54.

Or you can just go on the fact that paypal fees are roughly 3% of the cost, and do your own math (go into the Start menu in Windows, click Run, type in the word "Calc," and hit Enter).

Good site nonetheless.

You need a website to help you add 2.9% to a number then add another $0.30? Wow.

What the hell happened to our education standards?

The sad part about this is if you read paypal rules/regulations it prohibits you from charging a paypal fee. They will actually revoke your paypal account for charging people more for paying with paypal.

I know it sounds crazy, but it was brought to my attention on another forum. So I learned to just charge everyone the 3% fee and call it a handling surcharge

Just add 3% to the price and offer a 3% discount for not using Pay Pal.
That's one way to get around their goofy rule.

Paypal is smart, but not that smart!! Don't give them a reason to come after you, theres ways around it, very simple, there not going to know anything if you don't tell em, most transactions on paypal are done through are paypal accounts, not threw an e-bay sale, so WHY would you send say a request payment reciept to someone for goods & list that theres a 3% fee for anything, that would be DUMB & the ONLY way they would catch you, just add it into the price, that simple, they don't know what your selling & how much you want, its just a means of payment from bank to bank.
