Its a lie, he has to sell more junk motors to refund you. If you payed with your credit card, just call the number on the back of the card. Trust me!! You will thank me later.

Holy crap Justin. This is horrible. If there's one thing I learned after picking up my lq9 it's that you should not cheap out. I regret it. As far as I am concerend, the best place to get an engine from is Schram. Hopefully you can get this sorted out. For all the money you've lost on this you could have had a nice built 400 cube motor it seems.

ON NOV 9 2008 I sent 2650 to Greinder03 on the 11th he refunded my money through pay pal. Then paypal said that the echeck that he sent would take some time to clear all of the BS and today or last night all of my money was sent back to me.

So if anyone wants to look me up and try to link me and greinder03 together as friends you will have no chance of it, because I have never had any other meet ups with him in my life. You can search google and find all of my other post on the other forums under Lotaimpalass or look me up with my real name Matt Shaw in Derby KS I don't care you will find no link what so ever.

All I realy want to tell every one is as far as I can tell their has been no wrong doings from greinder03 to me I was refunded all of my cash in less than 20 days.

Those of you trying to link Crack head craig and Zack together I totaly think you are mistaken..

Later
Matt

Most of the time a good scammer is always the same one over and over.

i bought it from 89formulaws6, 68lemans informed me he sold me a no good motor, i just went outside and it turns out the 4,000 mile perfect running condition motor 89formulaws6 sold me has a chunk of the crank missing, but he covered it up with oversized, seized up flywheel bolts. i drove 700 miles to pick this motor up.... the worst part is all the good feedback he has.. can we trust anyone anymore? oh and 89 is from detriot, maybe i met craig face to face?

This is not surprising. Sorry to hear about this issue. Unfortunately as dkbykesdk said, these motors have been pulled for issues other than "totaled from being rear ended".

After this point, I dont think I would ever buy a used motor from a private party.

Did you pay cash? If you payed via paypal by credit card, call now and dispute the charge.

cash, i created a paypall just for this transaction, and i ended up having alot of trouble making such a large purchase, still not sure what the problem with paypall was, and i looked up shipping and it was like 700 dollars, or atleast the online quote was, so i drove up there, and paid cash.... totally screwed or do i have any recourse?

Just another jolly update on this PIECE OF **** MOTOR that was sold to me....I just got off the phone with the machine shop, and apparently the bores are tapered so bad that I have to buy yet another set of pistons. They are .0002" too big for the pistons at the top of the bore, and .0002 to small at the bottom.

This is complete bullshit. I'm up to my *** in this motor.

I just read this entire thread, 11 pages, and i learned quite a few things.

I WAS going to buy some small interior parts which i can probably buy for very cheap off of someone's totalled car but idk if im even gonna do that never the less purchase a $2500 + motor online where this type of BS can happen to anyone at anytime and you can not prevent it.
