Default How long?

does it take for the computer to reset. I just installed a new 02 sensore in yesterday after my old one gave out. I was the bosch 13111 i believe a corvetter rear 02 actually...well no my car actually seems like its running better but the check engin light is on. Also when I am coming to a stop I engage the clutch take it out of gear and disingage the clutch. It will stay up alittle around 1500rpm till i come to a complete stop and a second after.

How long does it usually take the computer to recognize a new 02..I put mayb 10 miles on it since changing them.

either unhook the negative battery cable for about 15 minutes or it will have to be driven and heat cycle about 4 times.

to my knowledge it counts every time the car starts and warms up to operating temp has no relation to time or mileage. So I take that as 4 short trips enough to reach operating temp and let it relearn
