An LS1 is an LS1. C5s usually dyno a bit lower than an F-body (at the wheels) due to the IRS sapping power (independant rear suspension).
The C5 LS1 cam specs are a tad different, thus negating the need for EGR. You'll notice that the LS1 (not LS6) intakes on any C5 have no EGR provision. But this minor cam/intake difference isn't enough to make any significant power difference. C5 exhaust system is a bit better stock for stock.
Overall, rear-wheel power is pretty much indenticle between a C5 (non-ZO6) and an LS1 F-body.
