Ls6?

I have a 2001 Camaro SS M6 with all SLP options. I know that some of the 2001-2002 ls1's were fitted with ls6 intakes and the egr system was removed. How do i know if i have the ls6 intake on my car. Also what else was brought from the ls6 to the ls1 for those two years and how can i know if mine has them.

Should have a LS6 intake manifold.

The LS6 manifold will not have provisions(hole) for the EGR right behind the throttle body.

ALL fbodies from 01/02 came with the ls6 intake.

SOME came with the ls6 block...although that doesn't really get you much.

if you really what to know, what you had then, take off your intake a ls6 would be flat on the back side.........and a ls1 would have a hump!!!!!!

^^Exactly. Some that look like LS6 Intakes were Corvette LS1 Intakes without EGR.

It doesnt gain you any power, but you do get added to the LS6 cool list
