Another newbie.. Hey all, I've been reading the forum for awhile and I always wanted a F-body. Finally got one today, 99 Z28 A4. Its a sweet ride, everything I coulda hoped for. Traded in my sunfire for it, lol. Just curious how the gas mileage is if anyone can help out, thanks!
Btw I'm 19, and the only reason I know of why more people my age wont buy F-bodies is cause of the insurance being a killer.

its like 14-15 in city and 20highway or around that
Mine got 17-19 city, and 32 highway. Those #'s were pre-G5X2, of course.
Oh yeah, btw... Welcome! ...and congrats on the purchase.

Re: Another newbie.. I get 22.5 MPG on the highway with the stock 3.23 gears cruising at 75-80 MPH. This is after my MTI heads/cam package. It dynoed 423 RWHP. I'm very pleased with the gas mileage/HP ratio to say the least. 
Re: Another newbie.. congrats on the new purchase man, and dont worry about gas mileage the first couple of weeks cuz i know you'll be WOT everywhere enjoying the new found power D: 
after i got done watching the needle tank on my car i wised up and drove normally and averaged 16mpg with my m6. with the mods in sig i now avereage 22-22mpg with a mix of city and freeway.
