Another quick "noob" question

Just nead clarification. What is the difference between the LS1 intake and the LS6 intake? And what is LSX? Also, is it hard to change them out?

LS6 intake will make 10-15 more HP than a ls1, the ls6 has a flat bottom while a curved. LSX refers to a few things, LSX block (cappable of supprting 2,000 hp), any LS based engine could be called a lsx, or a F.A.S.T. intake has LSX on the box FAST 92/92 should maekt the most power but is expensive. Not too hard to change, should take around 3 hrs if it is your first time.

An LS1 intake came on all 98-00 F-Bodies and the LS6 came on the 01-02 cars. The LS6 has better air flow.

the lsx block has 6 bolt per cylinder set up, it is made out of cast iron, and supports up to 2500hp.

There is some Corvette LS1 Intakes that don't have EGR, so don't be fooled by people that try to pass them off as LS6 Intakes. Look up the part numbers.
