Default what performance upgrade?

Hey everyone, got a little bit of money saved up over the winter to put towards the Z and was wondering what performance upgrade would do the most for me. I have about $1000 to spend. The car is a 98 Z28 and the only mods done are a pro 5.0 shifter and K&N filter. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I would def. start looking into doing a full exhaust system including long tube headers.

Yeah I was looking at an exhaust set up. Thinking about tsp headers and true duals. Would this be a good system?

u have alot of things u can do with that $1,000..

definitely pick up an airlid..u can find a used one for sure

get some longtubes.. since yur budget is $1,000 go with the pacesetter longtubes and off road y pipe.

and get a good exhaust system.. magnaflow, hooker, corsa, loudmouth..

just with those mods yur car will pick up power nicely.

id get a used ls6 intake & ported throttle body for ~$400, an slp lid for ~$100, a hooker catback for ~$350 and still have $150 left over
