Default Tuning out codes
Hey guys,

Has anybody "tuned out" codes such as many of the codes that cause the "service engine soon" light? And if so, does your system recognize the light has been turned off or is it like when you have the light reset and it just comes back on later and your system recognizes that it was forced to reset? I am considering doing this as a possible way to get through an inspection? Anyone ever try this before?

Get ahold of a tuner. THey can help you delete unwanted DTC's. As for using it o pass a state inspection, that would be illegal....

they will be deleted from your computer and if you have an emissions inspection be careful about what you remove.
