engine number Hi,
i am searching for an engine number on my crate Ls3 engine and have found 3 different separate numbers.
I vaugely remember a thread on here ages ago regarding who built my engine and details of how the engine number broke down including build day (but using search i cant find it.)
can anybody please give me a clue on what the engine number should be as i have an 8digit number a 15dgit and a 6digit??????

the car was supplied to the UK from the US as a turnkey kit car. I now need to UK road register it with its correct engine number.
The US supplier doesnt have its engine number recorded or can find from his source paperwork.
Just i thought easier just to pull the number from the engine...nothing easy eh?
