Default spark plug wires cut off

just found out that one of my spark plug wires is cut off, my question is, would it damage my engine if i still use the car to go to work in the morning before i fix the wire? since the car would run with 7 cylinders instead of 8

It shouldnt. I'd say take the wire off just to make sure it doesn't short out anywhere. It's just like when a spark plug fouls out and you have a misfire on one of the cylinders.

I'm going to suggest you fix it before you drive to work. Nothing good can come from a dead cylinder.

i'm afraid i'm not gonna be able to do that, i got a meeting early in the morning, so the car would have to wait til afternoon, just wondering if 1 dead cylinder would damage my whole engine

Well like suggested, pull that wire out so it won't short out, but if you have no option, go easy on it. You "should" be alright.

couldnt the rich condition wash his cylinder walls/
wouldnt it be more advantageous if he were to unplug the coil and the fuel injector for that cylinder?

Got any local f-body buddies that have a spare lying around? I wouldn't drive it with 1 dead cylinder. Rent a KIA from enterprise or something
