throttle body/intake

throttle body/intake is there anyway to bolt up a fast throttle body to a stock manifold, ie a ported ls6 intake to 90mm, and does anyone know how well a fast90mm throttle body would do with a weiand5000 90mm intake. that seems like the most cost effective method for now, another question, on exhaust setup, i plan on lowering my car with the bmr lowering package (lca relocator brackets, coils, panhard bar), with that in mind im trying to decide it lt headers r a good idea or if i should do shorties, right now i have the adjustable borla catback exhaust. keep in mind i live in texas and have to get an inspection sticker so have to have cats. im thinking exhaust is gonna go headers to electric cutouts into catted y pipes into my borla cat back, please advise
don't do shorty headers. Not worth the cost. At least get mid length headers like a set of MAC headers. I have a full BMR set up including springs and I run long tubes and true duals w/ no problems. As far as putting a 90mm tb on a ls6 intake it has been done before. What people have done is cut the front of the intake off and plastic welded a new one on that will work. Do a search and something should come up.
We have not had any complaints of the car not having enough ground clearance when using any of the major header companies (Kooks,ARH,etc.) with our lowering package. The package lowers the car approximately 1.25" from stock.
