So i was driving down the highway today and realized i never really go over 100 mph and there was an older camaro next to me. So as i proceeded to blow his doors off i looked down and the gauges and at about 120 my car kind of like jerked forward it almost felt like a really hard shift but i was unsure so i let off. Is that normal and what could it be?

 

sounds like you got the 118mph speed limiter.
check your RPO codes and you'll probably find that your car came without z-rated tires.

any tuner can remove it.
