head combination help
Ok this is what I have going on and looking for advise on what I should do
Parts I have
2003 LQ4 6.0l with 317 head (49k miles)
2006 LS2 6.0l With 243 heads (New Crate Motor, Never Run)
LS1 Intake and Standard TB
LS2 Intake and 90mm TB
L92 Heads
LS3 intake Manifold 2010 Camaro
I need to do 2 motors
The LS2 is Planned to go into my 91 Camaro with 6 speed and is going to be n/a
The LQ4 is going to my 78 Trans A, (Race Car) with Innovative 80 Turbo and T400 with Brake.
I know on the Turbo combo the head setup an manifold setup is less important.
Here is my thinking:
on the LS2 I should do the l92s and ls3 and a cam. To maximize the N/A combo (any Idea of HP improvement over stock 405hp)
on the LQ4 use the LS2 intake and 317 (Stock Bottom End, like the big Chambers) and Turbo Cam to get Max thru the top End for the turbos.
Sell the 243s of the LS2 Engine.... Am I going in the Right direction.
