Ls1 swap
Ls1 swap Im thinkin about gettin a s10 and doin a ls1 / lq9 swap. Found a perfect lq9 set up for 800 bux. Its the complete motor, plus the wiring and all brackets, covers, alternator, intake, oil pan and some ported heads. What else do I need becides a new trans?
It seems like this would only cost like 2500 for the whole swap. Is it really that cheap?

we have an s-10 we are willing to sell. dont know how close you are to Memphis.
Its already got a ford 8.8 in it, it has a weld wheels drag set up on it with new front tires and very good rear ET drag radials.
no engine. we do have a 6 speed sitting in it at the moment with the crossmember already fabbed up.
the truck is white and all the parts are there. we even have the long tube headers for the conversion.
call my business partner Brian if you are interested. I think the money would definately be right. price would depend on how many of the parts you want with the truck.
