ported heads now i hear that ported heads...iam fairly new wit everything so please show mercy..lol but is that similar to having a ported tb? so u take ur stock heads and get them ported??is that it? if so what kind of power does it add ? and how much does it cost? than guys
Porting heads is removing material in places of the intake and exhaust runners and combustion chamber for improved airflow. To make power it has to be removed in the right places and too much can actually hurt performance. That being said you can make power bye having your factory heads ported by a good head porter. I would look into some Ls6 heads from Texas Speed. Good luck!
