Default water pump question

alright so my understanding is that an ls2 water pump will fit on a ls1 and is lower profile. Does anyone know how the if aftermarket one from edelbrock compares in size. I need as much space as possible to fit a radiator on my miata.

yeah im going to call edelbrock tomorrow and check the dimensions. According to the website it works on the ls1 and ls2. so I would assume its atleast as small as the ls2 pump otherwise it wouldnt fit both.
