Default first time spark plug replacement with headers

well I'm about to attempt to replace the spark plugs on my 00 ws6
My car already has headers on it
any advise to make this swap go easy or tips?
as far as plug types
seems like most people are going with ngk copper plug
or delco

I'm looking to not have to replace my plugs for a while so maybe I'll go with a iridum plug?

any help or info
thanks

You can use an ngk tr55. Does your car have emissions on it? This is a pretty good article on it: http://www.installuniversity.com/ins...sity/index.htm

^ Agreed, for stockish cars TR-55's are fine.

As for tips. I do well with the Spark plug changing socket that had a fitting for a open end wrench.

Also do remove the coil packs for better access as well as take off the AIR tubes for better clearence.

for #8 cyl, have the Plug wire on the pack, tip the end into the rear cowl area so that you can get the other end on the plug, then rest snap on easy. Do the same for #7.
