Default Back in the game

Not a newb by any means but I sold my 01ss with a 408/12bolt 4.10/th 350 and the motor able to take up to a 300 shot all day long. I sold that about 3 years ago. Ever since, I been futzzing with these beater cars and always was in the shop.

I finally finally bought a 2000 Camaro SS Artic White with 102K miles on it and it looks as new as the day it rolled off the showroom floor.

One problem. the Drivers side door was replaced (2006 accident as per car fax) and they just used a plain jane z28 door which has one sticker on the inner door and says 235/16 tires.

I am missing the SLP sticker and the Real sticker for the door. You know, BOTH of them.

I decoded the vin and it is A REAL SS. What phone number do I call to try and retrieve those stickers? SLP Performance is not working for me. I cant seem to get their site to load. Everything goes through LMPerformance for some reason.

Again, anyone know where I can get those stickers and maybe the birth certificate?

Thanks a bunch.

Feels nice being back in the click. Ahh, i missed the f-body soo much

First off, nice SS. I love white.

Second, sounds like you have a V6 door. Most every Z28 would have had 245 tires. Though I think you did get 235mm even on a V8 if you didn't opt for the Z-speed rated tires in cetain years. This is very rare to see on a Z28 though. Not that any of this really matters to your request, just some general info.

Third, those assembly line door stickers (SPID sticker, tire/load info/build date sticker) apperantly cannot be reproduced. I've tried; been to a few dealers asking about this, and they tell me it can't be done by GM. As for the SLP sticker, I have no idea, you'd have to contact SLP.

thanks for all the help guys. I really appreciate it!

Sucks to hear about the standard door sticker. I might have to find a recked SS and try and pry the sticker off the door.

I will call SLP about the option code from them though.

I just emailed Mr. Hamburger, maybe he can help.

you definetly need some new rear tires, they are either not 275's or the sidewall is 3 times too small. Otherwise you bought the best color SS there is. Now tint the windows and have fun modding.
