I have a full exhaust and a lid. What should I do for $500 or less?

I think it's kind of hard to limit yourself to $500 upgrades. Personally, when I'm upgrading my camaro - I do the whole thing. If I'm going to replace my HU, I'll do all speakers, amps, etc. If i'm going to upgrade my engine ... i wont stop at cam and heads, I'll gut the engine and replace everything.

That being said, and my personal preference, for $500 I would probably do an underdrive pully and TB/intake work.

Well the question is, what do you want to do with that $500?

Make check payable to "98camaro28". Send check via certified mail to..

But really if you want to be faster in a straight line I say 4.10s or a mail order tune and a sticky tire. For overall performance, I say Stranos and SFCs. Will make the car look MUCH better and it will feel MUCH better and solid aswell.

Or just save up for a cam swap/tune...

Gears, tune, or suspension. You cant go wrong with any of them. Or you could always save it to buy a whole bunch of crap at once. I know it seems like a long way off, but if you save til Christmas, the deals the sponsors have are killer and you could buy a few extra toys with the discount savings.

Oh, and dont bother buying a used cam only. Having a cam with nothing else for the VT is stupid. Besides, custom grind is the way to go.

I'd say get some gears, 4.10's. Or I would do some suspension mods, subframes, lca's etc.

Forgot to ask, but when you say Full Exhaust, do you mean LT's, ORY, !CAT, etc?

If so you could probably use some sort of tune - even if it's just a mail order tune. If you decided to get gears instead of SFC's then you would need a tune anyways.
