newbie needs some help I just bought a 99 z28 it was a decent deal. 95k miles for $5500. I just noticed that my oil pressure gage jumps around a lot. It seems to happen more when I let off the gas, I have no idea what it could be I really need some help... thanks
Define jumping around alot,, you mean from like 40 to 35 psi at idle or 40 to 5???
I can tell you that your oil pressure gauge is on the back on the engine and to access it you will have to remove the intake, (read before you do this most newbies break their sensor removing the intake, I was one of them too)... It may be that the sensor is starting to take a crap on you, or possibly a bad connection between the sensor and clip.
