is it really a big diffrence switchin to duals.i got long tubes now with stock y that i pulled out and a hooker muffler that i just installed with 2 1/2" inlet /outlet so i was just gona replace my stock y with a 3" y .will that be good enough and by the way i was gonna do the exhaust myself so with that said should i just do what i first planned upgrade to a 3" or to a dual???

True duals sound good and would give the best power increase, but they're loud and you'll lose a chunk of ground clearance. If them being loud and grd clearance isn't an issue; go for the true duals.

I have 3" true duals. They are tucked up pretty nice, but I have to take it easy over speed bumps since I'm lowered. Besides the converter, it's the best mod I've done to the car.

what would be the hp diffr from the 3"y to 3"duals n what type off mufflers do use ?also cut out do you loose hp or gain when you open them or is it just to make it louder,1 or 2 cut outs?? my car is lowerd also. really want to go n start tearing **** up in the garage but have learned research first .and thanx for the replies guys.any pix anyone can post ???
