Had a quick question about engine rocking. I had a 2000 z28 and when i looked at the engine while on the engine itself didn't really move that much. However when I went to look at this 2002 SS with an el torro cam, 3700 stall, and trans shift kit I noticed the engine was rocking a bit, not a whole lot. When I drove the car it seemed perfectly fine however, no surging or anything. Is it normal for a car with a cam to rock the engine a bit?

A cammed LS1 tends to rock a little. You see it a lot in the shifter, be it a M6 car. I noticed on stock motor and trans mounts with 33k that if I cracked the TB blade, the motor does torque a decent amount.
I attribute that to the actual weight of the motor. My LT1 never moved as much and it had far more miles on the mounts (130k)
IF you crack the throttle and hear LOUD metal on metal banging, then start looking at mounts.
