Airflow/Engine Damage question.

Airflow/Engine Damage question. I'm sure that there couldn't be much damage done to the engine but I'm forced to wonder exactly what happens if I have a nice induction setup but nothing done as far as exhaust. Backpressure...but does it have any lasting affect on the engine i.e. quicker wearing. I don't think that I need to be all to concerned because I'm virtually stock but I do have !FRA done and I'm wanting to get a TSP Lid and a smoother bellow. From what I can figure this would be ok with a stock exhaust setup. I'm thinking that before I get a ported TB and MAF, FTRA and LS6 Intake Manifold, I'm gonna want to put some money into a cat-back and headers/ORY. Then a cam. Which leads me to one final question. If you've kept up thank you. Sorry for length. When I finally get around to camming the car how important is gear selection. I'm wanting 4.10s. Should I think about different ones if I'm getting the TR 224 114LSA?

Your stock 10 bolt is the weak link. $2500.00 will buy one that might last at the track. Or you can go my route and do it twice
