Hello everyone, my name is Ken, I have a 2002 ta ce. Looking to to some mods in 2 phases. 1: k&n fpik, qtp headers with catted ypipe, corsa cat back exhaust, and superchip tuner. 2: slp sfc (bolt on) underdrive pulley, fast 90 intake, nw 90 tb, and 3.73 gears. Wondering if there are any suggestions, looking to spend $4000 this year. Next year (phase 2), another $4000. I only drive the car 7months of the year, durning that time it is a daily driver. Thank you

All of this boils down to one question,,,,,,,What do you want to do with the car??? Street,,,Drag,,,,Daily driver with more acceleration???

Ditch the superchips tuner and go to a real tuner.

Agreed.

I would also skip the K&N FIPK and just get a normal air lid.

Since you have an '02 (with an LS6 intake stock), I wouldn't worry about a Fast intake/TB setup with stock internals. I mean, you'd see some gains, but IMO the cost vs gains isn't enough (unless your goal is for every single horsepower possibile from a stock internal engine) until you start looking at internal engine mods. Just my opinion.

As for the gears, is this an M6 car? If so, I'd just go all the way to a 4.10 if you're going to bother doing a swap at all.

EDIT: If the car is an auto, forget the gears altogether and start looking at torque converters first. Gears won't provide nearly as much of a gain for your money.

well they dont make 90mm fasts anymore so you might run into a little problem finding them...as like previously stated ditch the can tuner its useless. I suggest learning a little more before planning anything other then bolt ons.
