Default cam??

When i go to rebuild my motor I'm wanting to build it so that it can handle being supercharged...now, I am wanting a cam in it...but the supercharger wont be for a lil while after the rebuild. Can I get a cam and build the motor up and have it set up for a supercharger and still drive it without having the supercharger on it yet. Or is that something that will have to go hand in hand at the same time?

you could run a super charger cam before you install the charger.start reading up more on blower cams in the boost section.consider a custom cam.

What cubic inch motor are you going back with? There are a few cams that can work for both alright but we need to know more about your setup.

You can drive a low compression engine setup for a blower as much as you want, you just won't have much power until you blower goes on.
