need help... please!!! hey guys im looking into geting a cam but i know absoluting nothing about them... i have an almost stock 00 SS and i want a cam that will make the car sound a little sotck but i wan it to help.. and i want it to be able to run fine on the sotck ls1 without any problems
what should i do??

sounds like you want a sleeper cam setup...
normally i would tell you do a seach..... but i am bored... so...
there are a few sleeper cam set up that will give you great gains and still fool ppl into thinking your a stocker...
tr220 is a good one..
pretty much any cam with a 218 to 220 duration 540 to 560ish lift and 115-116 lsa
is about what your looking for...
get ANY cam you deside on tuned ... how much of a sleeper you have and how well you idle drive ect ect ect is all in the tuning....
check the parts for sale section you will find more then one of the cams that fit the description above for sale by someone who desided to move up to a bigger cam...

Yep, it sounds like a sleeper cam. Cams are complicated, really complicated. They have to be tailored to match your car. You should choose a company that has a good reputation like CompCams or Thunder and have them recommend a cam to you based on your setup. What is good for someone else, may not be good for you.
