I have a 98 Z28 M6. I have a miss in cylinder 5. Its cut way down on my power and i cant get it. Ive changed the coil, plug, wire, and injector. Its still showing miss in Cylinder 5 . Anyone have any ideas?

Pushrod/valvespring/valve/rocker arm could be damaged on that cylinder, or the PCM may be mis-calculating which cylinder the misfire is on.

You cant hear any noise from under the hood. if you get in the car and rev it just alittle you can hear the miss a lot. You can also hear the difference in the exhaust. I have true duels on my car and there is a big fifference behind the car. I hooked a small hand held computer to the car, thats how i got the #5 cylinder miss fire.

Can you pull the valve cover and take a look? maybe pull up the pushrod or look at the rocker...
