Default Kook's Headers

What does Kook's Headers mean when they say "stepped" form 1-3/4" to 1-7/8"? Does it mean it comes off the engine as 1-3/4" and then grows to 1-7/8" before arriving at the collector? And is there a big difference between 1-3/4" and 1-7/8" headers?

yes. and no. the larger piping will be better for the high end. if you plan to go heads and cam or larger cubes its best to get the bigger headers.
