Where is the climate control fan located?

Where is the climate control fan located? i.e, how do you get to it?
Mine started making noise over the weekend, when it is on 1,2, or 3 speed it sounds like when you put a playing card in bicycle spokes, on the highest speed it is grumbling really loud, so I know I am going to have to replace it.
Has anyone ever changed one of these?
I am talking about the interior fan that blows the A/C, defroster, etc.
