wanting to verify header research i have been looking info on the difference between the 98-00 and 01-02 headers listed on websites. most places say the only difference is that the 98-00 have the EGR and AIR while the 01-02s just have the AIR.
so with that said say since my car is a 01 with a 98 ls1 in it and i buy the 01 headers i wont have any problem bolting them up?
basically what im trying to figure out is, will 98-02 headers work for any of the year engines?

yes 98-02 fbody will work, you are right about the differnces between the years. You should be able to get headers without EGR or AIR ports to save from having to block them off if you have deleted them.
