Hey guys I went to Auto Zone to check a SES light and what I got was P0161 I believe. What is that?

 

Your ratio converter is out of whack, check the specs on the end rotory girter. Kidding ; I have no idea

I had the same problem. The O2 sensors have heating elements to warm them up to operating temperature. It sounds like the heating element on the passenger rear O2 sensor is malfunctioning (That's assuming Bank2 = passenger and Sensor2 = rear sensor). The only way to fix it is to replace it.

You need to test to make sure you have power to the heater element portion of the connector. Yes bank 2 sensor 2 is the passenger side rear.

 

Yep, they are all right (except for the one converter guy).....my SES light is on for the exact same reason. I suppose 80,000 miles isn't bad for the old bank 2 downstream O2 sensor
