I just realized that the neutral safety switch is broken off completely (i just seen the transmission for the first time today) I was wondering if the transmission will shift ok without it?? Please bare with me, im young but I am way more used to old th400/ carbed small block technology, the LT1 is high tech enough for me. I already know the engine wont start without the switch telling the ecu its in park or neutral. But will it shift without this switch?
