first off a 4000 is a bit much.. a 3600 would be much better for a driver.
for a stalled car the best thing to do is find your local HPtuners guy and have a STREET tune done... dyno tunes are awesome but not so much when trying to get the best drivability out of a stalled auto

do a google search for a dyno tuner in your area. hand-helds are worthless for modded set-ups. and mail order tunes are sketchy as well. i'd much rather have someone tune my car as it sits on a dyno where they can read how your engine is running and make adjustments right there on the spot. mail order tunes can't do that.

There is roughly a 200 RPM difference depending on the converter between a 3600-4000 on a normal take off. The WOT and shift extension difference in performance is a nice bit however.
To say a 3600 will do good and a 4000 isn't street friendly is kind of silly.
