Default cam question
So got a question I'm thinking bout getting the tsp 228r can with 112lsa can I run that with a supercharger?

super chargers usually like wider a LSA.if you want the most out of a super charger get a cam designed for a super charger.what is your static compression ratio ?

Wouldn't that depend on the supercharger and application? All I know for sure is that yes that cam will run with a supercharger but whether a positive displacement type or centrifugal type is really where it matters.

I'm no expert by any means but my un-informed logic would tell me that:
-Narrower LSA would increase down low power even more w/ a PD supercharger
-Wider LSA could help a PD supercharger not starve up top (probably not an issue too much anymore with new tech but some people believe PD are only good up to a certain point in the RPM band
-Wider LSA would be better to couple with a centrifugal because power would peak later.

Most I see run 8*- 10* more exhaust duration than intake duration and a 115-117 lsa.

Good luck with that one lol,not saying it cant be done but it wont be cheap,unless they came out with a kit but last i heard that idea was killed by whipple sometime ago,procharger would be a much easier option

Yep. There are no whipple options for our car. You'd have to cut the cowl and do other modifications to retrofit one for another vehicle

So I should go bigger Lea and pro charger. What's a decent one for good price don't need anything to crazy?

Procharger or cam? You'd want either a P1SC or a D1SC procharger.
