Default Porting TB

Is porting the TB really worth my time? How much power can I expect from this freebie? Thanks .

On a bolt on car I would say not more than 5. More if you have h/c..etc.
Some1 just posted some dyno graphs on here a few days ago. IMHO, just do it, it's basically free. Every little bit helps

The JB Weld stuff is good, but you will find that its a bitch to keep the shape of the TB. Make sure not to get that stuff in the air passages of the MAF.

I made 2 trips to the store. I wasnt happy with the first epoxy I picked up, it was too runny and I didnt wanna wait overnight to grind it down. I went to Home Depot and got "Gel Epoxy". It was nice and thick and hard as a rock in less than an hour.

you can get some aluminum epoxy from home depot...and you can get some copper tubing too...
the epoxy comes in a playdough like feel...and you mash it together to mix it...then you have about 20 minutes to mold it....just get it close...and put your copper tubing(about the size of a bic pen) in there at the same time....

grab your dremel after the stuff dries(just about an hour) you can start grinding off the excess and shaping the whole thing...

take your time doing it...it may take a good 3-5 hours to really do a superb job.... but its al worth it.... dont forget to do the bump stop mod while you are grinding stuff away....

you can get 5-8 hp on a stock motor..and some have seen 10-14 on a modded motor....

and of course its almost free... (putty epoxy and copper tubing....less than $15 + some grinding stuff- around $15 for that stuff too)
