Default Ported and polished fast 92mm throttle body, check out pictures.

I'm running a fast 102 intake and 92mm throttle body on my 99ss and thought I would share my work. The gains in throttle response made a really big difference considering how much metal I removed. Feel like I gained alittle low end torque as well.

started out with 80 grain sander on my dremel tool than moved to a finer grain

took about 3 1/2 hours or so of sanding and 1 1/2-2hrs of polishing to get the smooth shiney look.

sits flush with the slp bellow, absolutely no resistance air flow through the TB. It's damn near a straight edge! (that's why I would recommend nick Williams TB,little to no resistance with the airflow.)

alittle bit of work on the back side as well, not as much.

this is the inlet on my MAF sensor sits flush with the air lid. I read and heard a lot of no no's about messing with the maf sensor, I only ported the inlet on the maf so the air has a smooth entrance. I only ported the inlet I DID not mess with the screen or the inner part of the maf sensor. With the flush maf to air lid and flush TB to bellow I had an impressive throttle response gains I would recommend for anyone to do the same for free performance gains!!!

My T/A came with a de-sceened MAF and it runs fine, I know others aren't so lucky sometimes, but I'd pop the screen out if I were you. You can always put it back in if you have to.
