Yea definitely planning on stainless steel headers for sure. And ok I will go with that lid then thank you for all the help. And yea I bet about the wheels, I have looked at CCW's and for the area I live in with the condition of some of the roads, totally not worth the investment. I am now looking at Forgestar wheels. That will be down the road. Like I said, lid and catback for now, just going to enjoy the car and learn how to drive it for a while, Spring will probably be the rest of the performance stuff in terms of gaining power.
My throw is long as well, and that shift kit is only like $26 from WS6 so that will be ordered as well this week. What I would love to eventually do after the car is damn near perfect is a WS6 hood. I do like them a ton.

not sure which mac your talking to or even serious but since you gave him the idea of keeping it stock he did sorta comment on about your comment its the last post on the first page.
When did I say he couldnt respond? I was asking you what your logic is in keeping a car stock. The only ones I know who keep them stock are old men and purists. Im neither and I assume the OP isnt or he wouldnt of started a thread asking for advice on how to properly spend money on mods..
No hard feelings, I give you props for keeping yours stock. For me though I bought my car when I was 20 and I had a basement full of parts before I even had a car in the garage.

I bought a 2000 Trans Am last month that had 538 miles on it and all bone stock. I might be almost 50 years old but the 1st thing I did was install a lid and a skip shift eliminator. 2 weeks later I installed the Magnaflow catback. The purist might scream I am insane but everything I did is easily returned to stock. I dont think I will get into H/C/I but who knows if I hang onto the car another 10-15 years and it has 10K miles on it I just might.

Verdad Gallardo These cars may be worth something one day but the Firehawks are going to be the ones that bring the biggest money when that day comes so IMO its kinda pointless to leave it stock might as well have fun with them. Again its just my opinion.
