long range bullet I just recently got my first hotrod, a 2000 camaro z28 that i have done the ss clone to. but unlike most. i want to set my car up for long range style racing such as the gumball or maybe raly. any body got any pointers on cams inductions or just anything.anything
When you are talking about that kind of racing you need to look at the cooling system, oiling, and matching the best and strongest bits that you can by. Read up on some of the Failures at the Texas Mile. Its scary what long runs at high speeds do to a car.

Thanx budi justst ordered a mashimoto thrmostat flex a light slim
and b&w. sup,er cooler. To help my tranny mostly but it cools off every. other fluid to. Now since i have this cooler would ypu recomend a turbo or super. Oh and ill be putting ls6 heads, induction. And throttle body ( maf ) and me and dad rebuilt and pirted the heads this last week
so what kimda would be best suited for 230

Turbo or Supercharged your limited to the heads, for prolonged boost a 6 bolt head would be ideal but that requires a matching block. Other then that an aftermarket head with a thicker deck would be the next choice. Anyway you go convert to head studs.
